Stainless steel wire ropes are generally available in AISI 304 and AISI 316 in a variety of metric and imperial diameters. There are also a range of these stainless-steel wire ropes that are coated with a UV stabilised PVC.

For critical applications, stainless wire rope is available in Duplex 2205, this wire rope has a 20% higher breaking force when compared to AISI 304 and a 30% higher resistance against pitting and crevice corrosion when compared to AISI 316. The Duplex wire rope is finished with an extra bright an clean surface.
